Our Patronal Festival, for the Birth of St. John the Baptist, was celebrated over the weekend of 20th/21st June. By common request we repeated the theme of the last two years. People from the village and the church created their own personal flower displays, with photographs and other significant items, to make arrangements in memory of loved ones.
The church was filled with our flowers and our memories, old and new. The occasion has become something of a personal pilgrimage for some, and many people find it very moving. Some of the displays can be seen below.

If you think you would like to take part next year, keep an eye on this website, The Hexagon church magazine, and look out for posters around the village. The Festival is likely to be the weekend of 26th/27th June but to be confirmd early next year.
