Our Patronal Festival, for the Birth of St. John the Baptist, will be celebrated over the weekend of 20th/21st June. By common request we shall repeat the theme of the last two years. Everyone from the village and the church is invited to bring flowers (from the garden or the shop!), together with photographs or other significant items, and to make an arrangement in memory of a loved one. We shall be preparing the church on Friday 19th, any time from 9am onwards – coffee, refreshments and chat as well as flower arrangements!
The church will be filled with our flowers and our memories. There will also be strawberry teas in the Village Hall between 2pm and 4pm on Saturday afternoon, and Mass on Sunday morning at 10.30am. The Patronal Mass for the Birth of John the Baptist is on Wednesday 24th June at 7.30 pm. Do come and support us, enjoy the displays and the company!
