Work to restore and conserve the historic mural of St. Christopher on the north wall of the church, and also to repaint the two armorial shields on the south doors, is due to commence on 1st May. It should be completed in 3-4 weeks.
The work will necessitate the use of scaffolding which is now ready in place. For safety reasons the church will not be left open while the scaffolding is unattended, so on occasion, if you visit, you may find it locked.
