Our Patronal Festival is on the 24th June – celebrating the birth of St. John the Baptist. In a number of previous years, the Village Fete has been organised to coincide with the Festival to make a full weekend of fun and games and general celebrations.
Since the Covid pandemic, arrangements have been somewhat curtailed, but this year there was an art exhibition and craft fair. The church was open with flower arrangements, created by members of the church and of the village, specially for the occasion. Monies raised went to Gt. Ormond Street Hospital.
