As an experiment, instead of the traditional Harvest Supper, the Group Harvest celebration was arranged as a lunch on the 28th September. Many people prefer not to go out after dark, and no longer drive at night, so this was an interesting alternative. We think it was very successful – jacket potatoes with a choice of topping served with a great choice of side salads, and followed by apple pie with cream or custard (or both!). A table-top quiz and a raffle completed the fun. Here’s to next year!
